Why You Go There?

The view from Jangsan Peak - Busan, South Korea

Jangson is Busan’s third highest peak but the best situated of the major mountains. Sometimes a photograph simply can’t capture the vastness of a landscape, so I made this short video to illustrate the dramatic landscape of Busan, the density of the urbanized living, the coast, the mountains, and the architecture.

My favorite part of the video is the guy yelling “ice cakes” (what they call ice-cream pops) in the background… What is really amazing is that he carried a cooler full of dry-ice and ice-cream to the peak s the hike up is quite steep and treacherous over the last 1.5k!
