Traditional Black H’mong Headscarfs we bought from our friends in the Lao Chai H’mong Mountain Village near Sapa, Vietnam (at Fansipan View Hotel)
Custom Onitsuka Tiger Shoes!!! Handmade to order in Hôi An, Vietnam for $34.50USD… (Vania spotted these shoes at the Onitsuka store in South Korea… they were $120USD and it was hard to justify the cost of the golden kicks before we started our travels:( … Last night when we walked by the shoemaker’s shop I jokingly said that he could make your gold tiger shoes and we went into the shop… He overheard me say “Tiger” and immediately brought out a book organized by designer… We picked out the leather to match the design from memory… I opted for white stripes and a white sole on mine to be different… We picked them up at 11AM this morning and were shocked at how authentic they looked and how comfortable they fit!!! The only problem is that we want to make more!!! Definitely my new favorite souvenir from Vietnam!!!
Favorite Travel Souvenir - Angkor Recycled Bag (murse/European Handbag) - Handmade using recycled materials by disabled Cambodians… All of the proceeds from the bags and accessories go towards helping disabled Cambodians and the stuff is super cool!!! - Siem Reap
Opal Ring (Doublet Gemstone) - We couldn’t leave Australia without one of these precious gems… So colorful and not one is ever the same, but had to opt for a “doublet”, which is a thin slice of opal placed over a black stone, because a “natural” opal this size and this colorful can run over $1k… 95% of the world’s opal is mined in Australia! The neighborhood of Fitzroy in Melbourne, Australia is bustling with art, coffee, shops, boutiques, galleries, cafes, bakeries, chocolate, and markets… This community “down under” has gotten everything right! It is a beautiful community… The lifeline of Fitzroy is Brunswick St but Gertrude and Smith are also gems that aren’t to be missed… (Taken with Instagram)

Autumn Weather = Scarf Weather (but heading “down under” in a few days where it is spring in Australia…) (Taken with Instagram at PARIS BAGUETTE 서면 1번가점)
Gangnam Style (we couldn’t resist buying these socks as we prepare our exit from Korea… Possibly the most fitting souvenir ever!!!) (Taken with Instagram at Gaegeum Jugong)
Socks Socks Socks (@ 1,000KRW/$0.90USD a pair it’s hard not to want to buy them all!!! There is everything you can imagine… Obama, Spiderman, AngryBirds, HelloKitty, GangnamStyle, etc… EVERYTHING!!!) (Taken with Instagram at Nampo-dong Street)
