Such an amazing documentary with so many great underlying messages that have nothing to do with food… passion… hard work…
“Once you decide on your occupation… you must immerse yourself in your work. You have to fall in love with your work. Never complain about your job. You must dedicate your life to mastering your skill. That’s the secret of success… and is the key to being regarded honorably.” -Jiro Ono
Needless to say that few of us think like this, but this really resonates with me at this point in my life…

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.”
― Mark Twain
My mom posted this on my Facebook wall today… she’s pretty awesome and instilled a strong curiosity and desire in me at a very young age to explore the world, it’s people, cultures, customs, and places…

This photo was taken early afternoon on a Sunday. I think one reason why this sight is so common in South Korea is because the country is so safe. No one is going to steal his wallet or his mobile phone. At the same time no one is going to try to help the guy get up and off the street… This is simply one of those weird things about South Korean culture and a socially acceptable practice.
I wan to try this!
