Mountain Sunset in Dien Bien Phu… It’s not often that you arrive anywhere early in Southeast Asia but we were glad that the drive from Sapa through the mountains only took 9hrs instead of the estimated 12hrs… We got here just in time for sunset and to prepare for the 5am trip to Laos in the morning!!

The Bukhang Bridge (under construction) will connect the Taejongdae area to the KSU area in one straight shot… The bridges and tunnels of Busan have made this huge city navigable between towering mountains and the cliffs on the sea… It is amazing to see this bridge in progress as they build from both shores with plans to meet in the middle… It will be a beautiful bridge!! Baekyangsan Mountain Vista - It was an unusually clear, crisp day in Busan as visibility is usually limited by a haze that hangs over the city and obscures the view of the ocean from the mountain top… On this day it was easy to see the docks through the vista binoculars that make Busan the fourth busiest port in the world!
